Replacing both the pre-filter and main filter in your 950P Unit should only take you about ten minutes.
To Replace The Intellipure 950P Pre-Filter:
⚠️ Caution: Always disconnect power to the unit before servicing
- Lock the two front wheels to secure your unit.
- Remove the filter access door by unlocking the four quarter-turn latches. Removing the filter access door may require a firm pull to release fully.
- Slide the old pre-filter out of the filter channel.
- Slide the new filter into the channel in accordance with the direction of the airflow label.
- Ensure the pre-filter is firmly in place or the unit will not turn on.
To Replace The Intellipure 950P V-Bank Main Filter:
⚠️ Caution: Always disconnect power to the unit before servicing
- Lock the two front wheels to secure your unit.
- Remove the filter access door by unlocking the four quarter-turn latches. Removing the filter access door may require a firm pull to release fully.
- Disconnect the red wire lead from the multiplier.
- Unlock the V-bank filter with a flat screwdriver or a similar tool by turning the lock cylinder in accordance with the labeled direction.
- Using a firm pull, remove the old filter and high-energy grid assembly out of the filter access opening.
- Once taken apart, inspect and clean the inside of the unit to ensure it functions properly when reassembled.
- Separate the high-energy grid from the old filter by turning and unlocking the three-panel clips.
- Apply the high-energy grid to the new filter. Secure the grid to the filter by turning and locking the clips.
- Slide the filter back into the unit, ensuring the arrow is pointing toward the supply/outlet end of the unit.
- Lock the V-bank with the proper tool by turning the lock cylinder. You can reconnect the high-voltage lead when the filter is back in place.
To Close The Intellipure 950P Unit After Replacing The Filter:
- Return the filter access door to the unit.
- Position the threaded pin into the hole of the control panel to activate the safety switch. Without proper alignment of the pin, the unit will not turn on.
